2024 RGPS RunGood Resort San Diego
Action was picked up with Chris Takata all in for 88,000 and Thomas Carlin putting him at risk.
Chris Takata: A♣K♥
Thomas Carlin: J♦10♠
It was a fair fight with Takata ahead with his ace high, but after the 4♦7♥10♦ flop, Carlin jumped in front. The 8♥ on the turn changed nothing, but the A♠ on the river gave Carlin the double up with his pair of aces.
Aaron Knapp raised from under the gun, and when it folded to Jason Jia on the button, he three-bet all in for 186,000. After the blinds folded, Knapp called to put Jia at risk.
Jason Jia: Q♠Q♦
Aaron Knapp: A♦J♥
Jia was in a great spot to double with his pocket queens, and once the board ran out 3♠5♠10♠2♣5♥ he did just that to take the pot with his pocket queens.
Knapp was left with just 11,000 chips and was seen exiting the tournament area shortly after the hand.

Rip Fritzer: A♦A♣
Michael Kaplitz: K♠Q♠
Kaplitz flopped top pair, but ran into the pocket aces of Fritzer. However, the K♣ on the turn improved Kaplitz to two pair the J♦ river meant Kaplitz cracked the aces of Fritzer, and sent him to the payout desk.
Josh Mok raised to 20,000 from under the gun, before Fadi Moshi three-bet all in for 49,000. It then folded to the big blind and Aviram Parsha made the call.
After the 10♦A♦3♥ flop, Parsha checked to Mok who bet 20,000. Parsha quickly folded to leave the players heads up, with Moshi at risk.
Fadi Moshi: Q♥Q♠
Josh Mok: A♣10♥
Mok flopped two pair and left Moshi needing a queen to stay in the tournament. But the board ran out 6♣ on the turn and 7♠ on the river to give the pot to Mok, and eliminating Moshi.
