No miracle escape followed with the 3♣ turn and 4♥ river and an annoyed Jacobs tossed his time bank cards towards the dealer before leaving the tournament area with plenty of frustration.

The fifth table broke as the field dropped below 40 players still in contention and table five received two new faces. However, none of them were involved when the usual duo of Benjamin Lingenfelder Jr in the cutoff and Gilbert Tin Fook on the button headed to the A♠Q♠8♣ flop. Lingenfelder Jr check-called for 2,200 and then checked the K♣ on the turn.

Tin Fook now bet only 1,000 followed by plenty of table chat and Lingenfelder Jr folded.

"You had no outs?" Roy Bitton inquired and Lingenfelder Jr replied "why else would I fold for just one thousand". Tin Fook flashed the 10♦ before collecting the pot.

Three ways to the 9♥9♣2♠ flop, Farisani Khosa checked and Gilbert Tin Fook bet 2,000. Roy Bitton called only for Khosa to then check-shove for 19,600 total. Tin Fook asked for a count and sigh-folded while Bitton said "I am behind but I call".

Khosa showed his 4♥4♦ and Bitton then added "or maybe not behind" as he revealed the dominating K♠K♣. The 10♦ turn and 8♥ river were blanks, sending Khosa to the rail.
