Fabian Quoss First Player Eliminated

Nivel 4 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

"All in and call!" was the yell from the dealer over in the back corner of the tournament room.

German Fabian Quoss was all in and at risk on the {Q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop against American Brandon Steven. Despite having the smaller stack in the clash, Quoss did have the best of it with the {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} for an over pair. His opponent, Steven, had the {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} for top pair.

The cameras rushed to the scene just before the dealer dealt the {K-Spades} out on the turn to give Steven a leading two pair with kings and queens. Quoss now needed to improve on the river to stay alive, but it wouldn't be in the cards for him after the {8-Spades} hit fifth street.

Quoss was up and out of his chair in a split second and out through the curtains to the back hallway. Steven collected the pot and moved to 370,000 in chips.

Polk Doubles Through Galfond

Nivel 4 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Action folded to Phil Galfond in the small blind and he raised all in for effectively 54,000. Doug Polk squeezed his first card in the big blind and liked it.

"Alright, I think I have to go with it just based on one card," said Polk.

After looking at the second card, Polk called and tabled {K-Spades}{7-Diamonds}. Galfond, however, turned over {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}.

"WHAT!?!?" announced an excited Polk. "How do you have queens? All in at table....what table is this? Table 9! We have an all in here!"

The flop fell {6-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{7-Hearts} to give Polk two pair and the lead. He held up through the {J-Spades} turn and further improved on the {K-Diamonds} river to double through Galfond.

Seiver took down the pot, which was around the size of the bet and he's now up to almost 800,000 chips.

Two Pair for Kurganov

Nivel 4 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Ben Lamb check-called a bet of 12,500 from Igor Kurganov on the {8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop before the two saw the {J-Diamonds} land on the turn. Both checked fourth street, and the {A-Diamonds} completed the board on the river. Lamb checked, Kurganov bet 37,500, and Lamb called.

Kurganov announced two pair and showed the {A-Clubs}{6-Hearts} for aces and sixes. Lamb mucked, and Kurganov was pushed the pot.

On a {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop we picked up the action when Brandon Steven check-called a bet of 27,000 from Max Altergott.

The turn brought the {8-Clubs} and this time Steven check-called 67,000, after which the river completed the board with the {J-Spades}.

Both players checked and Steven announced he had an ace.
