Holbrook Losing Ground

A player in early position opened for 5,500 and Nick Holbrook raised to 12,500 in late position. Action folded back to the original raiser and he moved all in for 45,300. Holbrook called and tabled {A-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} and was up against {J-Hearts} {J-Clubs}.

The board ran {9-Clubs} {6-Spades} {9-Diamonds} {8-Spades} {5-Diamonds} and Holbrook lost another big portion of his stack.

Meyers Flushes and Breaks $200k

Nivel 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Brandon Meyers opened in the cutoff for 4,500 and Michael Abdoulah called from the big blind. The flop fell {4-Clubs} {A-Clubs} {J-Spades} and Abdoulah checked. Meyers bet out 5,500 and Abdoulah called to see the {2-Hearts} turn. Abdoulah checked again and Meyers bet out 13,500. Abdoulah called and the river fell {2-Clubs}. Abdoulah checked a third time and Meyers bet 28,000.

Abdoulah announced call and grimaced at the bad news when Meyers tabled {8-Clubs} {7-Clubs}. The he painfully counted out the 28,000 and shipped it over to Meyers -- who now sits at 210,000.

The under the gun player made the call and Lichtenberger moved all in for 58,300. The button folded and the player under the gun made the call.

Lichtenberger: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}
Opponent: {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

The board fell {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{J-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Lichtenberger's pair of aces with a king kicker were able to take down the pot and earn him a double up.

Gyarmati's Gone

All the money was in the middle between David Gyarmati and Yoonjun Park before the flop; Gyarmati had gotten his money in with {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}, but found himself flipping for his tournament life against Park's {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}.

The flop of {10-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Clubs} kept Park ahead and the {7-Spades} on the turn sealed Gyarmati's fate. The river {J-Diamonds} was just for show.

Philachack Wins Another Big One

From early position, David Zenel put in a raise, making it 4,000 to go. Andy Philachack three-bet the action to 10,000 from middle position and the player in the cutoff moved all in for 33,400. Zenel mucked his hand and Philachack made the call.

Philachack: {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}
Opponent: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

The board came down {J-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and Philachack's queens full of jacks scooped a sizable pot and eliminated a player in the process. Philachack is now currently our biggest stack in the room.
