Rast Takes a Hit

Nivel 8 : 250/500, 50 ante

After a series of preflop bets and raises, a player was all in and at risk for 20,625 against Brian Rast.

Rast: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Opponent: {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}

It was a classic race situation, and the {2-Spades}{q-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop gave Rast two backdoor draws. The {10-Clubs} on the turn kept his Broadway draw alive, but the {5-Hearts} on the river was a big red brick.

His opponent doubled up, while Rast slipped down to 38,700 chips.

Nivel 8 : 250/500, 50 ante

A player was all in and at risk against Manig Loeser for 20,000 or so on a board of {7-Spades}{2-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{7-Hearts}, and was ahead with {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} against the German's {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}.

"No club," he told the dealer. "No club."

The river was a club - the {9-Clubs} - however, and he was eliminated. Loeser chipped up to 90,000.
