Kitty Stops Purring

Nivel 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

Down to her last 2,000 in chips, Kitty Kuo called all in out of the big blind after a player in early position had raised exactly that amount and another called in middle position. The pre flop aggressor then bet 4,000 on the {K-Clubs}{J-Spades}{10-Clubs} flop and the second opponent mucked his cards.

Kuo showed her cards to the dealer and we could not grasp it anymore. She was up against {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and apparently already drawing dead after the {4-Hearts} turn when she threw the cards in the muck. The {3-Diamonds} river completed the board and Kuo grabbed her belongings.

Bracelet Winner In The Lead

Nivel 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

Does the name Justin Oliver ring a bell? He defeated a 566 player strong field in the $2,500 Four-Handed No-Limit Hold'em Event in 2013 to win his golden bracelet. The Canadian also seems to be our current chip leader with massive 130,000 in chips.

Grinder Ground Down

Nivel 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

Michael Mizrachi, better-known in some circles as "The Grinder," has busted at the hands of the controversial character that is Ivan Freitez.

Mizrachi open-shoved for around 8,000 chips with {7-}{7-} and Freitez called with {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}. Mizrachi's sevens stayed best until the river of the {8-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{a-Diamonds} board, the ace on the river condemning Mizrachi to finishing outside of the money places in this event.
