Schulman Set-Up

Nivel 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

We saw Nick Schulman involved in a larger hand where he led the {4-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop for 1,700 and called the raise to 4,000 after some consideration. On the {A-Diamonds} turn and the {3-Diamonds} two larger bets of his opponent followed and he mucked when shown {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}.

The Big Stacks

Nivel 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

In the blue section we do have two players with a rather large stack compared to the rest of the field and their chip counts are as follows.

King on the River Doubles Stein

Nivel 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

Sam Stein cracked pocket aces a few minutes ago when he caught a lucky king on the river to double up.

Stein opened to 1,33 from early position and faced a three-bet to 3,200 from a player directly opposite him in the cutoff. Stein responded with a four-bet to 5,700 only to see his opponent announce all-in. Stein quickly called and showed {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts} and much to his dismay was shown {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}.

A {9-Hearts}{6-Spades}{7-Spades} flop failed to change anything and by the time the {2-Diamonds} landed on the turn Stein was already standing from his seat. He had to sit back down when the {K-Spades} completed the board as it improved Stein to a set and doubled him to 39,000.

Adeniya and Yunis With Plenty

Nivel 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

British pro Martins Adeniya is stacking chips high and has even taken the time to line up all of the edge spots of his chips in a pretty pattern.

Chilean Nick Yunis is also nicely stacked with 48,000. Yunis has three cashes at the World Series of Poker, including a deep run in the recent $3,000 Six-Handed No-Limit Hold'em event.

Salsberg Short

Nivel 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

His cards were already rushed away but Matt Salsberg just lost 15,325 chips as the stack of his opponent was counted with the {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{J-Clubs} board already being complete. The opponent had {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds} as winning hand in front of him and Salsberg is now really short.
