Blue Suede Shoes

Nivel 8 : 250/500, 50 ante

Here are some chip counts from the blue section inside the Brasilia room.

Collins Binks a Double

Nivel 8 : 250/500, 50 ante

Phil Collins moved all in preflop for 6,225 and was called by a player in late position.

Collins: {8-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}

The dealer laid out a board of {6-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{10-Spades}{5-Clubs} and Collins' flopped trip eights held for the pot.

Walker Also Takes The Rest Off Jazayeri

Nivel 8 : 250/500, 50 ante

It wouldn't take long for Sean Jazayeri to try and double up his short stack. Tristan Wade raised, Jorge Walker just flat called and Jazayeri then moved all in for 6,000 with {K-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. Wade folded but Walker made the call with {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}.

The {A-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop was a disaster for the WPT champion as he now had barely any outs anymore. After the {8-Hearts} turn it was all over and the river didn't matter anymore.

Jazayeri's Jacks No Good

Nivel 8 : 250/500, 50 ante

In a battle of the blinds, Jorge Walker limped and Sean Jazayeri one seat over raised to 2,500. The fireworks started and Walker ended up going all in via five-bet-shove and Jazayeri looked him up with {J-}{J-} and Walker showed {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}. The {10-Hearts}{8-}{6-Hearts} flop provided further outs with the flush draw, though nothing changed on the {2-Clubs} turn.

One card away from getting back into the top chip counts, Jazayeri didn't want to see any heart or ace and king. Unfortunately for him, the dealer fanned the {3-Hearts} as final community card and Jazayeri was left with very little chips.

Ruzicka Runs Into Aces

Nivel 8 : 250/500, 50 ante

Vojtech Ruzicka raised to 1,100 from the cutoff and faced a three-bet to 2,500 from the button. Ruzicka leaned forwards to get a better view of his opponent's stack before announcing all-in. No sooner had those words left his mouth, his opponent had called.

Even before the cards were flipped onto their backs Ruzicka knew his were in trouble. The Czech pro turned over {9-Clubs}{9-Spades} and was shown {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades} for his troubles.

An ace-friendly board reading {2-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{2-Spades}{K-Diamonds} came out and Ruzicka handed over 16,000 of his stack.

At a different table, William Reynolds faced a similar situation. After raising to 1,000 from the button, the small blind raised all-in and Reynolds went into the tank. He emerged with a fold, but his face told a story that he possibly wanted to call.

Soulier Loses Final Flip

Nivel 8 : 250/500, 50 ante
Fabrice Soulier
Fabrice Soulier

It all started so well for Fabrice "fabsoul" Soulier earlier today, but ended in a coin flip for his last 15,000 or so chips. There was a raise to 1,300, Soulier and two other players called and Jake Schwartz raised to 8,100.

The Frenchman was his sole active opponent and moved all in with {3-}{3-}. Schwartz called with {A-}{Q-} and got there on the {A-}{K-}{9-}{9-}{6-} board.

Fabrice SoulierThought i was running in the 2500$... Was dreaming! Another brutal busto #revengeComingSoon #TeamEverestpoker #fb

Williams Double Crushes Opponent

Nivel 8 : 250/500, 50 ante

Just moments after the LA Kings scored in double overtime to win the Stanley Cup over the New York Rangers, a player in early position wearing a Rangers cap, opened to the pot with a small raise. Action folded around to David Williams who three-bet shoved for 7,725. The early position raiser insta-called putting Williams at risk.

Williams: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Opponent: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Williams was way behind and his opponent wearing the Rangers cap was looking for a little something to brighten up his day. It would not come from this pot as the dealer fanned out a {6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{a-Spades}{5-Clubs} and Williams' flopped set of tens scored the double up.

Max Silver Eliminated in Massive Pot

Nivel 8 : 250/500, 50 ante
Max Silver from a previous event
Max Silver from a previous event

We only arrived at the {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop and Max Silver bet 2,100 from the hijack, the button called and Ankush Mandavia folded from the big blind. On the {3-Hearts} turn, Silver check-raised from 3,000 to 9,600 and his opponent, Phu Ngo, moved all in after approximately 30 seconds.

Silver was struck and went deep into the think tank, considering to "gamble". Ngo didn't call the time on it and Silver was talking to himself and seeking moral advise from Mandavia. "{Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs} or {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts} would be really sick," he said. "One more minute please." Ultimately he grabbed some chips of his 28,000 stack and called all in with slightly less chips than his opponent.

Silver: {6-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Ngo: {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

The {6-Spades} on the river didn't help Silver as it completed the straight for Ngo and the Brit has been eliminated.

Max SilverMade an awful awful play to put myself in a tough spot I got wrong for 85k pot at 23k average. Oh well. Happens. 10k 6m tomorrow
