Gimbel is Out

Nivel 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Harrison Gimbel had less than a big blind from early position and pushed in 3,500. Steve Chanthabouasy raised to 14,000 from right behind him and everyone got out of the way.

Chanthabouasy had {k-Clubs}{k-Spades} and Gimbel was looking for an ace with {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}. The board ran out {10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} however and Gimbel is out in 30th place.

Nachman Berlin moved all in for around 75,000 and got a call. Berilke stood and announced, ”Pay out table four forty.” He was in good shape though with his {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} against {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and the board ran out {5-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{7-Spades} to give him a double up.

Nivel 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Joshua Weiss returned from the dinner break very short on chips and got them in with {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} but he couldn’t hit and his opponent holding {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} took the remainder of his chips.

Jeff Gross
Jeff Gross

Douglas open shoved all in for 80,000 from the hijack and Jeff Gross made the call from the small blind.

Rosen: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Gross: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

The flop was {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{4-Spades} and gross paired his ace. Rosen would need to catch a nine or running clubs to stay alive. The board completed with the {2-Hearts}{k-Hearts} however and Rosen is out in 33rd place.
