Palmer Rivers Flush to Double Through Gorsuch

Nivel 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

On a flop of {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}, Scott Palmer checked over to John Gorsuch who fired out a bet of 110,000. Palmer came over the top with a check-raise only to have Gorsuch three-bet ship all in. Palmer called for his tournament life of 612,000 and the hands were turned over.

Gorsuch: {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Palmer: {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

Gorsuch was out in front with bottom pair and a gutshot draw while Palmer was looking to improve with an ace and four to a heart flush. The {9-Spades} hit the board on the turn, giving Gorsuch a straight to the jack. It was for naught, however, as the {8-Hearts} finished the board and gave Palmer a winning heart flush. He scored the double and now has about 1.435 million. Gorsuch, on the other hand, has fallen to 657,000.

Baranowski Wins His 27th All In

Nivel 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Dean Baranowski just ended up all in before the flop and this time 235,000 of his chips were at risk. Baranowski was all in against Koziol and the showdown went as following.

Koziol: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Baranowski: {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}

The board ran out {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{4-Spades}{Q-Spades} and Baranowski doubled up.

"That was my 27th all in," Baranowski said with a big smile.

"Really? 27th?" Kyle Bowker said in amazement, "I've only been all in once."

Baranowski, who fist-pumped again when he doubled up, has luck on his side during his all ins and right now he's back up to 490,000 chips.

King Dethroned

Nivel 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Robert Schulz opened for 32,000 only to have Lasell King three-bet all in for 140,000 from late position. Action folded back to Schulz and he made the call.

Schulz: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
King: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

King got it in good, but he fell way behind on the {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{k-Diamonds} flop. The {10-Clubs} turn gave Schulz Broadway, meaning King could only chop with a jack. Instead, the {4-Diamonds} completed the board on the river and King was sent to the rail.

Zaichenko and Ho Race

Nivel 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Andrey Zaichenko was faced with a three-bet shove worth 232,000 from Kyle Ho, and the Russian made a quick call.

Zaichenko: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Ho: {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}

Zaichenko added a Broadway draw when the first three community cards were spread across the felt, but the {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} flop also gave Ho a set. The {3-Hearts} on the turn was a brick, as was the {k-Diamonds} on the river, and Ho doubled to 506,000 chips/

Zaichenko slipped to 1.135 million.

Stewart Rebounds

Nivel 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

After losing most of his chips in a big pot to Timur Margolin, Casey Stewart moved all in for his last 127,000 from middle position and Kyle Keranen called from the big blind.

Stewart's {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs} had Keranen's {A-Spades}{5-Diamonds} outkicked, and he managed to hold up through the {7-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{K-Spades}{6-Spades} board.
