Mantovani continued for 1,500 and the big blind called. Mantovani bet another 6,000 on the 4♥ turn and his opponent again stuck around.

The 4♦ fell on the river and Mantovani slowed down and checked. The big blind then bet 12,000 and Mantovani called. His opponent showed K♣10♣ for a missed straight draw, while Mantovani had A♠J♣ for two pair to win the pot.

The river was the 5♣ and Montanari took several minutes before moving all in for 30,800. His opponent also tanked for a few minutes and eventually folded as Montanari took down the pot.

Four-Betting Finally Pays Off For Tamm

A player under the gun raised to 800 and Nazariy Piznak three-bet to 2,200 in early position. Taago Tamm then four-bet to 6,000 and the under-the-gun player called, while Piznak got out of the way.

"What do I know? I'm four-betting three hands in a row," Tamm said as the flop came K♦10♥7♠. He continued for 6,500 and his opponent called.

The turn was the A♦ and Tamm bet another 11,000. His opponent then moved all in and Tamm snap-called for 34,100.

Tamm showed A♥K♠ for top two pair and had his opponent's A♠J♣ dominated. The river was the 9♣ and Tamm doubled up.

"I earned it. I figured I would three-bet three hands in a row and see what happens," Tamm added after the hand.
