Day 1c promised to be the biggest flight yet of the €888 888poker Live Madrid Main Event, and it certainly lived up to the hype.

He remained near the top of the leaderboard the rest of the day, ending up with 244,500. The 201 entries on Day 1c boosted the combined field up to 346, with 173 securing a seat for Day 2 There is still a turbo Day 1d flight to come tomorrow at 1 p.m. local time. Late registration also remains open until the start of Day 2 at 5 p.m., so there is plenty of chances for the field to grow even larger by the time the prize pool is confirmed.
