Alberto Sanchez opened to 2,500 in middle position and Karim Alleg three-bet to 8,000 from the next seat. Christiaan Poel Van der Maurits cold-called in the cutoff and Sanchez also called.
Sanchez checked on the flop of 2♣9♥J♦ and Alleg continued for 7,000. Maurits raised all in for around 30,000 and Sanchez quickly folded as Alleg followed suit.
"I smell aces," Alleg said with a sniff as he sent his cards to the muck. Maurits then turned over the J♣ to show he didn't have aces but did have at least top pair.
