Andris Rasins raised to 800,000 from the hijack and Alexantr Spatharis shoved for 1,375,000 total on the button. Action folded back to Rasins, who quickly called to put Spatharis at risk.
Alexantr Spatharis: A♠10♥
Andris Rasins: Q♥Q♠
The board ran out A♣7♠A♥6♦10♣ — improvign Spatharis to a full house to keep his tournament run alive.
Martin Tsvetanov opened to 600,000 from middle position, with Ricardo Caridade defending the big blind.
Caridade check-called a bet of 350,000 on the A♣4♦3♥ flop. The Q♦ turn was checked through.
On the 4♣ river, Caridade led out with a bet of 800,000, and Tsvetanov called. Tsvetanov tabled 8♥8♣ for two pair eights and fours, and that was good enough as Caridade mucked.
Ryan Plant opened to 650,000 on the button and was three-bet to 1,750,000 by Martin Tsvetanov in the small blind. Undeterred, Plant clicked it back to 2,850,000 and Tsvetanov called.
Tsvetanov check-called a 700,000 bet from Plant on the 9♠9♦8♥ flop, but check folded after Plant shoved his remaining stack in on the 5♠ turn.
Alexantr Spatharis opened to 900,000 from the cutoff and was faced with a three-bet jam to 5,150,000 from Magnus Persson in the big blind, with Spatharis making the call with the slightly covering stack.
Alexantr Spatharis: K♦J♦
Magnus Persson: A♥A♦
Persson had woken up with the goods, but the 8♦8♥2♦ flop spelt danger, Spatharis picking up a flush draw. The 5♥ turn was a brick but Spatharis binked the 7♦ river, hitting the table in celebration as he did so.
Persson was left cursing his misfortune, and was forced all-in from the small blind in the next hand. Konstantinos Nanos opened to 825,000, but folded to a three-bet to 2,250,000 from Jack Sinclair.
Magnus Persson: K♣Q♦
Jack Sinclair: Q♥Q♠
Persson only had an overcard and exited after he ultimately missed the A♣10♣6♠3♠9♠ runout.
Jack Sinclair raised from the cutoff and action folded to Andris Rasins, who shoved for a bit under two million from the small blind. Sinclair quickly called to put Rasins at risk and a showdown was held.
Andris Rasins: 8♦8♠
Jack Sinclair: A♣K♣
The 10♦J♠2♥ flop kept Rasins in the lead with his eights, but the Q♣ turn upgraded Sinclair to Broadway and left Rasins drawing dead.
An irrelevant 7♣ completed the board and Rasins was eliminated in 12th place.
Jack Sinclair and Ryan Plant got into a preflop raising war that ended with Plant all in for a bit under 15 million from the cutoff against Sinclair, who had Plant covered from under the gun.
Ryan Plant: K♠K♥
Jack Sinclair: A♥Q♠
The 8♥K♦K♣ flop upgraded Plant to an unbeatable four-of-a-kind and Sinclair flung his cards into the muck.
The 10♣ turn and 3♣ river made Plant's double up official and he was sent the massive pot to overtake the chip lead.
