On a board of J♥Q♥8♣3♦ there were almost 4,000 chips in the pot when Yoav Mermelstein checked and Brandon Mifsud fired 2,400. Waldemar Peter called, and Mermelstein folded.
When the 3♠ dropped on the river, Mifsud grabbed three blue chips, worth 5,000 each, and threw them into the pot. Peter then went into the tank for around two minutes and didn't seem to know where he was, but eventually he flicked in a call.
Mifsud then showed K♣Q♠ for top pair, and Peter mucked.

Tournament officials had been called to a table for a hand involving Heza Inthachon and Dimitar Iwanov-Petkin.
With the board reading 8♦3♣2♦Q♥A♣, Iwanov-Petkin had opened A♦10♦ face-up on the table. The dealer had then removed these and placed them in the muck.
"No, I said all-in!" said Iwanov-Petkin. He believed that this all-in had subsequently been called by Inthachon, and therefore he had opened his cards. On the other hand, Inthachon believed that Iwanov-Petkin had thrown his hand away.
In the end, tournament officials ruled that Iwanov-Petkin had tabled his hand in turn, and not mucked it, and therefore it was retrieved from the muck and properly tabled.
Iwanov-Petkin then called and Inthachon's hand 8♥4♦ was then turned over and he was eliminated. For prematurely opening his cards, Iwanov-Petkin received a one-round penalty.
