PokerStars has announced the first three European Poker Tour (EPT) stops on its highly anticipated 2025 schedule, with the iconic tournaments returning to EPT Paris, EPT Monte-Carlo, and EPT Barcelona.
This announcement follows another successful year for the tour, including a memorable celebration of EPT’s 20th anniversary in 2024. As excitement builds, PokerStars has confirmed more events are yet to be revealed.
“We're excited to announce the first part of the calendar with the return of EPT Paris, Monte-Carlo, and Barcelona for 2025”, said Live Events Senior Business Development Manager, Julien Liarte. “These iconic stops have become cornerstones of the European Poker Tour, each offering unique experiences and unparalleled competition. We can’t wait to welcome players back for another incredible year of live poker.”
To secure a spot in EPT Paris, online satellites are already live. Players can win a €8,000 package that includes a €5,300 EPT Main Event buy-in, eight nights’ accommodation at the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile, and expenses. Additionally, players can win a €3,300 package to the France Poker Series Main Event, which includes a €1,100 buy-in, seven nights’ accommodation, and expenses.

Endrit Geci shoved for his last 30,000 from early position and action folded to Navid Saberin in the hijack, who went all in for more. Everyone else folded and a showdown was held.

It was a coin flip, but the 8♣A♣8♥ flop paired Geci's ace to give him a commanding lead.
The A♠ turn improved Geci to an unbeatable full house and the 10♥ river improved Saberin to a second-best full house to make Geci's double up offical.

Alexander Thiel opened to 6,500 and Fehim Hajdari shoved for 46,000 from the next seat. Alexander Thiel was behind him and called off his stack of 22,000, which got Thiel to fold when the action got back to him.

Siena was in trouble, but looked to have been bailed out after the 9♥5♥J♦ flop improved him to top set. A K♥ on the turn did give Hajdari a gutshot, but Siena was still a big favorite.
"Ten!" said Tomas Jauring, who was never involved in the hand.
The 10♠ dropped on the river, which completed the straight of Hajdari and sent Siena to the rail.
"You don't like me?" asked Siena to Jauring. "I will remember this, next time I will call the card against you," he joked.
"What are the lottery numbers?" asked Vivian Saliba with a laugh.

With around 80,000 chips already in the middle on a flop of 9♦Q♠A♥J♦, Jeremie Zouari was first to act and bet 30,000, then Gianluca Cammarata shoved for 92,000. Yurii Dan was behind him and shoved his stack of 151,000 into the pot. With the action back on Zouari, he took some time before he eventually folded A♣9♣ face up.

Cammarata was very displeased with Zouari revealing his cards and it was clear why as two of his outs had been removed as he tried to chase down Dan's turned straight. A 2♣ wasn't going to make any difference, which meant Cammarata was eliminated, and Dan's stack skyrocketed to around 360,000!

Davide Muccitelli raised to 6,500 from the cutoff and was three-bet to 22,500 by Yiannis Liperis on the button. It was folded back around to Muccitelli, who called.
Muccitelli checked to Liperis, who continued for 13,000 on the 2♠K♥10♦ flop. Muccitelli responded with a check-raise to 33,000 and Liperis called.
The 4♦ fell on the turn and Muccitelli announced he was all in, which was enough to put Liperis all in for 115,000 total. Liperis let his hand go and Muccitelli turned over A♠K♦ before collecting the pot.
