The dealer put out a flop of 6♦10♠10♥, and Bette had to fade some extra outs. When the 7♥ hit on the turn, Burneikis asked for another seven on the river. It wasn't a seven but the K♦ that completed the board, and Bette was eliminated from the tournament, just five players away from the end of the day.

Kamal Jbirane raised to 22,000 from early positon, Martin Nielsen moved all in for 173,000, from the cutoff, and Butuc Gheorghe, on the button, called off the bet for his effective stack of 29,000.

The action was back on Jbirane, who went deep into the tank and thought for several minutes. The clock being called prompted Jbirane to fold.

Gheorghe had Nielsen dominated, but the 5♠5♦Q♠ flop brought some chop opportunities. The 7♠ turn changed nothing, but the 5♣ river saw each player's kicker negated, denying Gheorghe his double-up.

Abdelhakim Zoufri opened to 20,000 from early position with Espen Nikolaisen making the call from middle position. Babak Nasrollahzadeh called for his last 18,000 from the hijack and Neo Lind defended out of the big blind.

With Nasrollahzadeh all in, the dealer fanned out a flop of 3♣4♠2♥. The action checked to Nikolaisen and he bet 27,000. Lind and Zoufri folded and the cards were flipped over.

Nikolaisen was ahead with a flopped set of fours but had to fade Nasrollahzadeh's straight and set outs to move everyone closer to Day 2. The Q♣ turn and 7♠ river didn't help Nasrollahzadeh, and he was out.

There were two all-ins on the bubble. One of them came from George Chiriac, who moved all in from the button and was called by Kevin Hasler in the big blind.

The dealer put out a board of 5♦10♥A♠10x5x giving Hasler a full house and busting Chiriac.

Hand Two:

Christian Pedersen raised from early position. The action folded to Michail Manolakis in the small blind who did not see that Pedersen had raised. Manolakis covered the big blind by some margin and elected to move all in, thinking he was pressuring just one player on the bubble. The big blind folded and Pedersen snap-called.

Manolakis' misclick had run into kings. The board ran out 5♠3♥J♦2♣6♠; Pedersen's kings held to eliminate Manolakis.
